Summer Term 2018

June - Angles
In maths we have explored angles. We first identified angles such as obtuse and acute, and then used our table tops to identify angles created with tape.

June - Assembly
This week we were visited by the inspirational Nick Burr from Cam Sight. Cam sight is a charity that supports local people of all ages with low vision and blindness. Our assembly was informative, inspiring and we even got to meet Amber, the guide dog. Following on from the assembly, 30 year 6 children took part in a game of goalball to experience sports as someone who has low vision or blindness would in everyday life. A fantastic way to start our week.

May - Rounders
This week we have enjoyed the fair weather by playing a combined session of rounders. Both classes had a go as a large group, and then we were able to create smaller groups for additional practise. Well done! We also have a few students representing Queen Emma at a tennis tournament. Here we are having a practise before the day.
