PSFA Events
Please let us know if you have any thoughts about how we could develop the school community, any fundraising ideas or any contacts or skills we could use to the benefit of the school community. Everything is potentially valuable to us!
Photos of our events can be seen under the School Events page.

Fundraising and events
As a charity, our target over the past year has been to raise £5000 for the purchase of books and equipment for the KS2 Library. As of April 2016 we are delighted to announce that we have met our target. Thank you to all the volunteers who make our events possible, to all those who have taken part and to everyone who has donated and contributed in different ways.  At the AGM it was agreed that we should now begin fundraising for our next 2 projects: a ramp for the stage in the school hall and play equipment for the back playground. We look forward to seeing what we can do!

Cake sales
Cake sales take place after school on the last Friday of each half term. This year the cake sales are taking the format of a Bake-Off competition between the different year groups. The year group which raises the most money will benefit from a reward at the end. So far in 2015-2016, Year 1 are in the lead, having raised £303.89 at our October cake sale! We look forward to seeing which year group will be the winner for 2015-2016!

Bag2School
This year we are taking part in the Bag2School charity collection scheme, an initiative which raises money for the PSFA, as well as providing a source of affordable clothes for others. We have had 2 collections so far and have raised nearly £150 each time. Our next collection takes place on July 14th.

Other events
Our Christmas Fayre in December 2015 was once again a great success, and we enjoyed welcoming in some lovely stalls as well as offering some beautiful craft activities for the children and enjoying our usual festive treats and Santa's Grotto. Our discos in November 2015 and February 2016 were hugely popular, and in February we also hosted our first ever International Evening at Queen Emma. We are especially grateful to all those who helped make the event such a success by so generously bringing such fabulous dishes to share. There was an incredible range of delicious food from an amazing variety of cultures, ranging from Afghanistan to Zimbabwe! It was wonderful to see so many people at the event, enjoying time to chat with old friends and get to know new people, as well as taking time to sample the tasty treats!
